Well, for one thing, anyone that has a business online should be working on ways to streamline their business operations. Petaflops, Petabytes & The Senate?! Oh my!!
The Big Blue is already geared towards helping that money go to good use with their newest line of Super Computers and breaking the petabyte barrier.
In the next few days, the Senate is expected to pass a stimulus bill that will inject around $820 billion in government funding into national infrastructure and other job-creating programs. IBM is counting on a significant chunk of that money going towards IT-focused projects. In the House version of the bill, $20 billion has been allocated for digitizing health care, around $6 billion for increasing broadband Internet access and $4.5 billion for “smart grid” systems that distribute electricity more efficiently than the current system.

Dating Site Disgust – C’MON MAN!!
Thank the heavens I’m one of the lucky ones who has a significant other. Yet, all those people that are honestly and innocently spending their money on these dating sites.. unfortunately, I’ve got some disturbing news for you.
The screen shot I’m about to post here is from one of the top dating sites; I can’t divulge the name of the site for all the obvious reasons. But, chances are you’ve seen their ads on TV. I’m quite sure they never meant this to be found out; otherwise, they might just get sued for false advertising…
The graphic might be a little hard to read, but if you look closely you’ll see that each entry is for a different city. They didn’t even take the time to mix up the intro text!
Now, this is a paid site so there is absolutely NO way that ONE individual is going to pay for 5, (count ‘em again), FIVE different accounts. People need to be aware this is happening; that they’re paying their hard earned money and getting duped, like this.
This site obviously has a dedicated staff for the sole purpose of padding their member list. Now, I’m quite sure they never intended these entries to fall one after another like this, but when you do evil someone is bound to find you out.
All I can say is.. ONLINE DATERS BEWARE!!
